Learning Through Play: New Hands On Exhibits!
The biggest highlight this month? Seeing just how much fun families are having with our new hands on learning activities inside our one room museum!
We designed these interactive stations to bring history to life through touch, imagination, and play. Seeing visitors of all ages jump right into the action has been incredibly rewarding:
- Dress the Part: Kids and parents alike are trying on period clothing, trying out historical styles, and seeing what it was really like to dress for frontier life!
- Pack Your Wagon: A runaway favorite! Families are testing their planning and decision making skills as they figure out what essentials to pack (and what to leave behind) for the journey ahead.
- Interactive Discovery: From hands on tools to tactile history displays, every corner is designed to turn learning into an active adventure.
"Seeing parents and kids stepping into history, playing, and learning side-by-side is exactly why we do what we do."
Boardwalk Repairs: The Journey Begins!
While things are booming inside, we’re also turning our attention to the outdoors. We are excited to announce that plans are underway to start much needed repairs on our boardwalk!
A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to our local Veterans Clubs. Thanks to their incredible generosity, we have kicked off our fundraising campaign with a bang.
Where We Stand:
- Current Progress: $3,500
- Fundraising Goal: $27,000
We still have a way to go to reach our $27,000 goal, but thanks to the strong support of our local vets, we have a fantastic head start. Every dollar brings us one step closer to getting our boardwalk back in tip top shape for the community to enjoy safely.
Come Visit Us!
